Design Process
I thrive working across the entire product life cycle — from research and discovery through to design. A defined process facilitates the opportunity to design authentic products.
01.
Strategy
I kick-off a project by understanding the business, collecting requirements, outlining an approach, mapping assumptions, and taking into account all user touchpoints.
02.
Research
I conduct research and discovery using various methods, including user surveys, interviews, focus groups, benchmarking, and analysing different types of data.
03.
Question
I ensure to ask the right questions to empathise with users, understanding their needs, while also thinking analytically and leveraging the expertise of product and subject-matter experts.
04.
Define
I help to determine product architecture, facilitate workshops, conduct affinity mapping, discover themes, initiate problem statements, and develop user personas.
05.
Prototype
I sketch and iterate ideas before transitioning to creating either low or high fidelity prototypes, exploring user flows, interaction patterns, animations, and digital brand elements.
06.
Test
I thrive when organising, scripting, and facilitating moderated in-person or remote user testing sessions to validate product content, journeys, and usability.
07.
Design
I create pixel perfect user interface designs, bringing brand to digital through defining visual language, creating style guides, and building component design systems.
08.
Collaborate
I clearly communicate and collaborate with stakeholders or clients, working closely with development teams to support and provide design quality assurance during the build.
09.
Learn
I relish the opportunity to test live products and learn after launching new ones, aiming to scope and phase incremental UX improvements for continuous growth.
